This is an expressive pinot noir that displays intensity and lifted aromas of red cherries, currants and clovey spice. The palate is concentrated in bright red fruits, dark plum and warm spices, with smooth acidity and good
structure, embedded in silky, plush tannins. All follows through with great length and richness in flavour.
The fruit was hand picked with 25% as whole bunches, and the remaining fruit is de-stemmed for fermentation. The fermentation takes place over 14 days and then is gently pressed directly to old French Barriques (10% new) for 12 months.
