2018 The Long Road Pinot Noir
Lovely vibrant cherry and spicy notes lead on to a bright crunchy medium bodied structure with lovely silky tannins and length.
15% whole bunches and 5% Pinot Meunier are included with the balance de-stemmed for fermentation over the bunches. The alcoholic fermentation was carried in open fermenters. Following fermentation the grapes were lightly pressed directly to 1-3 year old French puncheons. The wine was matured for 14 months in French oak, racked from barrel and gently filtered to bottle.
