Medium red colour with red hues

Rich cherry and plum aromas and flavours lead on to a bright crunchy medium bodied structure with lovely silky tannins and length.

Winemaking Notes

25% whole bunches are included with the balance de-stemmed for fermentation over the bunches. The alcoholic fermentation was carried in open fermenters. Following fermentation, the grapes were lightly pressed directly to 20% new French oak barriques and puncheons.

The wine was matured for 9 months in French oak, racked and gently coarse filtered to bottle. No fining. This wine is a careful selection of the best Maragle Pinot Noir barriques and puncheons.
