2017 Canberra Riesling
Riesling is one of the Canberra District icons. We believe Canberra does and will continue to produce some of the best examples of Riesling in Australia. Its continental climate is perfectly suited to growing lively and beautifully poised Riesling.
Intense tropical fruit, lime and lychees aromas with a lovely mineral, fresh and long palate.
Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed. Cold settled for 48 hours, racked from lees and fermented cold in stainless steel tank with a selected aromatic yeast. The wine was then racked from lees and left on fine lees for 4 months before fining, cold stabilisation, sterile filtration and bottling in September 2017.
