Tasting Notes

Medium red colour with red hues. Rich dark cherry, black olive, blackberry, briar and white pepper aromas and flavours. The palate is complex and intense with a savoury and long finish.

Winemaking Notes

Most of the fruit was de-stemmed with about 20% included as whole bunches in the ferment. The fruit was lightly pressed at the end of fermentation directly to old 500 litre puncheons for a period of 15 months.
