The wine that put Eden Road on “the map” winning the 2009 Jimmy Watson Trophy. 50% of the grapes are from our Cullarin estate vineyard located at Lake George, 25% from the Tumblong vineyard located in the Gundagai region, and the remaining 25% from the Barwang vineyard in the Hilltops region.
Tasting Notes
Medium red colour with purple hues. Cool climate Shiraz with subtle cherry and white pepper aromas and flavours. The palate is complex and savoury with velvety tannins and a long finish enhanced by the natural acidity.

Winemaking Notes
The grapes were de-stemmed and fermented as whole berries in stainless steel fermenters.. The grapes were pumped over three times a day during fermentation to extract colour and tannins, and lightly pressed at the end of fermentation directly to 1-3 year old French puncheons,. The wine was then aged for a period of 8 months, racked and sterile filtered before bottle. No fining.
