2024 The Long Road Shiraz Dozen Special

Cool climate Shiraz with subtle red cherry and white pepper aromas and flavours. The palate is complex and savoury with velvety tannins and a long finish enhanced by the natural acidity.

The grapes were de-stemmed and fermented as whole berries in stainless steel fermenters. They were pumped over three times a day during fermentation to extract colour and tannins, then lightly pressed at the end of fermentation directly into 1 - 3 year old French puncheons. The wine was then aged for a period of 8 months, racked and sterile filtered before bottling. No fining.
